TV audience: 6.6 million watch France-Ireland rugby match on France 2

France lost heavily against Ireland… and France 2 won by a large margin against the rest of the TV channels. On Friday evening, 6.6 million viewers watched the France-Ireland Six Nations match and Which ended 17-38 in favor of Ireland. France 2 therefore takes first place in the audience podium and gathers 33.6% of the public in front of its television.

The second winner of the evening has been left behind: on France 3, a rebroadcast of an episode of the series “Cassandra” with Gwendoline Hamon and Alexandre Varga attracts 2.9 million people (14.4% market share). When it first aired in May 2021, this fic was a hit with 4.9 million viewers.

TF 1 defends itself well with its “The big blooper” entertainment

TF 1 is in third place with the work “Le grand bêtisier” presented by Karine Ferri and Christophe Beaugrand. The entertainment entertained 2.1 million fans of all kinds of gags and surprises (which is a 10.5% audience share). For its part, M 6 did not shine with the remake of “Cauchemar en cuisine”, attracting only 887,000 fans of Philippe Etchebest’s ads (4.5% of the audience).

France 5 is doing well with Claude Chabrol’s “La Cérémonie” with Sandrine Bonnaire and Isabelle Huppert: this news-inspired drama attracted 796,000 moviegoers (4.1% market share). Art is also doing well with the broadcast of an episode of the miniseries “Loulou”: fiction attracts 679,000 viewers (viewer share of 3.3%).

Note: on C8, fourth evening “Welcome to the Monastery”, a reality show that takes place in two religious communities, intrigued 430,000 people (2.1% of the audience). When it was launched on January 12, the program collected 646,000 curiosities.
